Jesús Cosano, Africans in Seville

On this episode, recorded in a beautiful afternoon at la Peña Betica, between cañas (small glass of beer), clients, birds chirping and cigadas; we talked about his book and some brushes on how African influenced Seville, its music, people, dances, and other cultural elements. Almost at the end of this great conversation, he talked about Guinea and flamenco (breaking the myth of being exclusively gypsy music). I will say no more. I am including the links of his book reviews if you happened to read and understand Spanish. Beware, Jesus will give you two piece of information on Africans playing certain instrument on flamenco and on a special festivity. We talked about Jazz as well.
